The Personal
Fitness Program is available to past patients, as well as the general
public. All participants in the Program must attend a one and
a half (1.5) hour initial assessment. |
|
This
assessment includes a review of medical history, blood pressure screen,
instruction in stretching/flexibility exercises, and the proper use and
set-up of the equipment. During this visit, the correct resistance needed
to begin your
program will be determined. Proper techniques will also be demonstrated
for your use of the equipment. |

LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION

1
- INDEPENDENT:
For those participants who are able to set-up and use the equipment independently
following the initial assessment. Professional staff is always available
to answer questions and/or correct improper form or technique. Flexible hours
are available throughout the day. |
2 - ASSISTED:
For participants requiring minimal physical assistance with equipment
set-up, transfer on/off of the equipment, and safe performance of the exercises. Program
hours, limited to specific days and times, are available at the reception desk. |
3 - PERSONAL TRAINING:
Work one-on-one with a qualified staff member, focusing on individual goals for
flexibility, strength and endurance. |
